Training
Building Sustainable Operational Excellence
Successful integration of the UH-60 Black Hawk platform requires more than aircraft delivery and technical support. It demands structured training programs that align flight operations, maintenance capability, and mission execution standards from the outset. SkyRise facilitates comprehensive training pathways through established partnerships within mature UH-60 ecosystems in both the United States and Europe, ensuring safe, compliant, and performance-driven operations from day one.
Our approach is designed to build internal capability, accelerate operational readiness, and reduce long-term dependency on external support.
Pilot Training Programmes
Through certified training organizations and experienced Black Hawk instructors, SkyRise facilitates initial type rating programs, differences training across UH-60 variants, and mission-specific preparation tailored to aerial firefighting operations. Training pathways also include recurrent proficiency programs and Night Vision Goggle qualification where operationally required.

Beyond technical qualification, the focus is on operational application. Crews are prepared for high-density altitude environments, external load operations, water delivery precision, and complex mission coordination typical of wildfire deployment. The objective is to deliver qualified, mission-ready flight crews aligned with both regulatory requirements and real-world operational demands.
Technician Training Programmes
Sustainable fleet performance depends on technically capable in-house maintenance teams. SkyRise facilitates structured airframe and engine type training, systems diagnostics and troubleshooting development, and guidance on maintenance program implementation aligned with the operator’s Continuing Airworthiness framework.

Training is delivered by experienced UH-60 specialists with direct platform exposure, accelerating technical maturity and strengthening internal decision-making capability. This structured approach reduces early-life maintenance risk and supports long-term dispatch reliability.
Training Infrastructure and Geographic Flexibility
SkyRise leverages access to established training centers in the United States, where the UH-60 ecosystem is mature and operationally extensive, and in Europe, where regional accessibility and regulatory alignment support international operators. These facilities offer integrated solutions including simulator access, classroom instruction, technical workshops, and coordinated logistical support.
Dual-continent availability provides scheduling flexibility, regulatory adaptability, and cost optimization while ensuring exposure to experienced instructors operating within established Black Hawk environments.
